- Well, it turns out that the next few chapters of Leviticus appeared mostly as irrelevant as the first 10....so I've scanned 3-days' worth of reading again today...hoping that by tomorrow, there'll be some content in Leviticus to learn from....
I don't know that realized it before...but Acts might be my favorite book in the Bible...great verses from today's reading...
- "Silver or gold I do not have, but what I have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk." Chapter 3, Verse 6
- "...and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him." Verse 10
- "You killed the author of life, but God raised him from the dead." Verse 15
- "Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord." Verse 19
- "It is by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified but whom God raised from the dead, that this man stands before you healed." Chapter 4, Verse 10
- "Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved." Verse 12
- "When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and they took note that these men had been with Jesus." Verse 13
- "Judge for yourselves whether it is right in God's sight to obey you rather than God. For we cannot help speaking about what we have seen and heard." Verses 19 & 20
- "...enable your servants to speak your word with great boldness." Verse 29
- "All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of his possessions was his own, but they shared everything they had." Verse 32
